Central Arlington is comprised of several suburbs clustered in and around mid-Arlington, which lies on the Trinity River in northern Texas, less than 24 miles from Dallas in Tarrant County. The community was originally named in honor of Robert E. Lee’s hometown in Virginia. Central Arlington includes neighborhoods like Pantego and Dalworthington Gardens and holds a current resident population of approximately 60,000.
